About Virtue Yachts

Virtue Yachts are meticulously crafted by a team of passionate individuals who have a deep appreciation for yachting. Their engineering team has amassed extensive expertise in the production of yachts. However, what sets them apart is their personal experience as boaters themselves. Specializing in designing and manufacturing yachts with innovative features that are currently lacking in the market, they constantly aim for technological perfection while also contributing to positive ecological change. Their modern manufacturing facility, which operates partially on solar power, reflects their commitment to environmentally-friendly practices.

They are highly selective in the technology they employ and carefully scrutinize every solution they choose. The construction process takes place in an enclosed, well-ventilated environment that is precisely controlled for optimal climate. Each element is carefully crafted through the use of vacuum infusion techniques and meticulous assembly, paying keen attention to detail.

The gelcoat-spraying and laminate-cutting processes are carried out in separate, enclosed areas that prioritize both environmental and worker protection. To maintain their high standards, Virtue Yachts only utilizes the finest quality materials. Their goal is not only to design and build modern yachts, but also to prioritize eco-conscious production. Continuously striving for improvement in every step of the production process, they are dedicated to delivering the highest quality yachts to their satisfied clients.

Petestep deflectors

About 10 years ago, the Swedish company Petestep introduced a revolutionary and patented hull technology that changed the way motor yachts were designed. Their achievements were further utilized when the technology was implemented in the hull design of the V10. By conducting an analysis of the interaction between the boat and water spray, Petestep was able to create a hull with special deflectors positioned around the water line. These deflectors redirect the energy of the water spray downwards and backwards, resulting in a 10-30% reduction in drag and a 20-50% increase in acceleration.

Additionally, the noise caused by water pushing against the hull is significantly reduced. This technology not only provides a smoother ride, but also improves fuel efficiency and stability compared to traditional hull designs. The underwater section of the V10 was designed and developed by Petestep, utilizing their patented technology and advanced computer simulations to optimize the performance of the hull. With four Petestep deflectors, specifically designed for all speeds, the V10 is able to handle choppy waters with ease, providing an exceptionally efficient and comfortable ride in the category of adventure boats.

Production process

At Virtue Yachts' production facility, boats are manufactured using the advanced technique of vacuum infusion. Through this method, the lamination process is completed without releasing harmful styrene into the environment. Dry layers of reinforcement are carefully placed in the mold, followed by the installation of channels for resin injection. The entire process is then sealed in a vacuum bag. Using a suction pump, the resin is applied, resulting in the perfect resin-to-reinforcement ratio and the elimination of air bubbles.

The V10 has been carefully planned and optimized to accommodate modern Li-ion batteries and EVOY electric engines. As battery technology continues to advance at a rapid pace, it is expected that these capabilities will greatly increase and ultimately replace traditional engines in pleasure boating. The team invites customers to embrace the future of boating with the V10.
