Founded in 1983, SPORTIS S.A. has established itself as the leading Polish manufacturer of Rigid Inflatable Boats (RIBs). Transitioning to a stock joint company in 1999, SPORTIS has consistently set the standard for quality and innovation in the marine industry. With a strong focus on both professional and pleasure RIB boats, as well as essential safety equipment like lifejackets, buoyancy aids, and storm suits, SPORTIS has become synonymous with reliability and performance on the water.

The journey of RIB boat production in Poland began in the early 1990s, with SPORTIS leading the charge by manufacturing boats intended for Search and Rescue (SAR) operations. Over the years, SPORTIS boats have proven their mettle in some of the most extreme environments, from scorching heat to frigid Arctic conditions. A notable highlight in the company’s history was the remarkable Atlantic crossing by Arkadiusz Pawełek in a SPORTIS RIB boat in 1998, showcasing the durability and performance of their vessels.

While SPORTIS primarily focuses on custom-built RIB boats tailored to the specific requests and wishes of clients, the company also has a rich history of serial production for various clients with standardized specifications. One of the early successes in this regard was the SPORTIS MC-4500, which marked a significant milestone in the company’s production capabilities.

In addition to its prowess in manufacturing standard RIBs, SPORTIS made waves in the industry with the introduction of the first RIB cabin boat, the S-6100/K.
