Founded in 2011, Seven Seas Yachts was established with a singular purpose: “To produce yachts that excel in every aspect of yacht design and production.” After three years of dedicated research and development, the company unveiled a revolutionary yacht series that sets new standards for performance, efficiency, and seaworthiness. Central to this innovation is their patented Amfihull® design, characterized by an ultra-low profile and advanced engineering features, including the patented EDS® driveline system, which together have given rise to a legendary series of yachts.

Significant research has been devoted to perfecting the hull design, with a focus on achieving optimal performance while ensuring striking aesthetics. The result is a hull that boasts remarkably low drag resistance, allowing for the use of smaller engines than comparable vessels while still outperforming competitors. With a steep entry angle of 72 degrees, the hull cuts through waves smoothly, providing a soft ride without the pounding typically associated with motorboats. Additionally, these yachts maintain low trim angles between 2 and 2.8 degrees at all cruising speeds, allowing for a gradual transition to plane without the discomfort of a hump, enabling cruising from as low as 5 knots to maximum speed.

The yachts also feature exceptional stability, thanks to their low center of gravity, allowing them to recover from heeling angles of up to 98 degrees—performance metrics typically seen in sailboats. Seven Seas Yachts employs modern construction techniques shared with world-class competitive boat builders and racers, ensuring the rigidity and reliability of their hulls. Utilizing the latest building technologies, the hulls are constructed with E-glass fibers reinforced with aramid and vinyl ester resins in a sandwich construction with AIREX® foam core, resulting in the strongest and most durable fiberglass vessels available today. This method not only protects against osmotic blistering but also minimizes the release of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) during the infusion process, making it an environmentally friendly construction approach.
