About Sessa Marine

Sessa Marine is a renowned Italian brand that specializes in crafting flybridge yachts and semi-enclosed yachts. With a range of 13 models currently in production, spanning from 11 to 22 meters, the company offers customers a diverse selection to choose from. The brand’s current model lineup includes 3 distinct lines: Cruiser, Flybridge, and Yacht.

Sessa Marine story

The company was established in 1958 by engineer Camillo Braga and has since expanded its material range and model offerings under the leadership of Braga’s daughter, Raffaella Braga Radice. In the 2000s, Sessa Marine achieved significant growth, opening branches in South and North America and receiving the prestigious title of Cavaliere Lavoro in Italy.

During the 1970s, the shipyard initiated the production of small boats at the Sessa Aurunca facility. At the same time, they also established a small workshop in Cinisello Balsamo. In the year 1973, Sessa Marine achieved a significant feat by becoming the first Italian company to incorporate new Piaggio jets in their boats and successfully manufacture the initial inboard jet units for small boats.

In 1986, following the sale of the Arcore-based factory, all nautical production was relocated to Lesmo and, two years later, to Cividate al Piano, in the province of Bergamo. This move was made possible by the acquisition of the Fyberstamp shipyard. The outcome was the development of a new line of larger boats, with a strong emphasis on marketing. This change occurred during a time when popular models from the 1980s such as Mambo, Samba, and Sunshine were replaced by the Key Largo, Oyster, and Key West collections.

Today, the company continues to be managed by the descendants of Camillo Braga, the Radiche family. Sessa’s headquarters is located in the Italian city of Lesmo, with its main production facility in Cividate near Bergamo. Additional production facilities can be found in various regions of Italy, as well as in the United States and Brazil. With an annual production of approximately 1,000 vessels, Sessa Marine also boasts a research center and a network of dozens of dealers worldwide.

At Sessa Marine, the focus is on “doing the right thing,” which applies to every vessel they produce, whether it be a fishing boat or a luxurious yacht. The company places a strong emphasis on the quality of materials and monitoring of work processes, ensuring compliance with importing country regulations.

Sessa also carefully selects dealers around the world and continually innovates in design and communications. With a strong presence in the European market, Sessa Marine is now concentrating on producing large motor yachts with opulent interiors and unique designs, such as extraordinary glazing and trapezoidal windows, in the third millennium.
