Cantieri Estensi

Cantieri Estensi was established in Ferrara, a city renowned for its deep connection to water and sailing. Situated along the Po di Volano, Ferrara retains its 14th-century urban layout, a legacy of the Biagio Rossetti project that transformed it into one of the first modern cities in Europe. This historical significance earned it UNESCO World Heritage status, first as a Renaissance city in 1995 and later in 1999 for the Po Delta and the “Delizie Estensi.”

Founded in 1995, Cantieri Estensi set out to create boats that embody timeless charm and can withstand any sea conditions.

Since 1996, over 500 boats have been crafted across 14 different models. The journey began with the production of the Queentime, a luxurious motorsailer available in 80 units across two versions. In 2000, the shipyard shifted its focus to the Goldstar model, establishing Cantieri Estensi as a leading Italian brand in lobster boat production, characterized by a Mediterranean redesign that simplifies lines to create modern yet timeless vessels.

The Maine series was introduced in 2006, marking a new direction towards the development of prestigious and exclusive boats with semi-displacement hulls, offering speeds between 8 and 18 knots. A new production facility, where all models are built, opened in 2009. The flagship model, the 640 Maine, was launched in the spring of 2011, representing the pinnacle of modern and functional living aboard.

In 2015, Cantieri Estensi was acquired by a new partnership with a clear goal: to preserve tradition while enhancing the prestige and quality of its boats, all while emphasizing the excellence of Made in Italy.

In 2024, the new face-lifted models of Goldstar and Maine series were introduced.
