TJ Boats SRB Series motorboats combine HDPE technology with RIB (rigid inflatable boat) construction. This allows to eliminate the main drawback of rigid inflatable boats, namely their susceptibility to punctures and damage, and to retain the excellent nautical properties of such structures. If you consider motorboating as something more than a way to move from point A to point B, then TJ Boats SRB Series boats made for challenges are designed for you. The available hull lengths range from 4 to 10 metres, and the boats can be customised to the requirements of individuals, companies and public institutions.

HDPE technology

HDPE stands for high density polyethylene. This material is lighter than water. It can be formed and machined, and HDPE elements can be welded together. The material is resistant to oxidizers such as sulphuric acid, nitric acid and other agents. It is also physiologically neutral. HDPE is fully recyclable. Its mechanical strength is very good. It is resistant to biological growth and ultraviolet radiation (when black in colour). All this makes HDPE the ideal material for motorboats and other aquatic solutions.

Advantages of HDPE polyethylene

It is flexible and conforms to different shapes and structures easily, and it has a smooth surface that can even be waterproofed. It is also very economical, requires little energy or no energy to fabricate, and has a long lifespan. Additionally, HDPE has excellent water-barrier qualities, making it ideal for water tanks, containments, and other waterproof material needs. The advantages of HDPE technology are: buoyant, resistant to impact and corrosion, resistant to temperature change, resistant to chemical, does not overgrow with algae, resistant to UV radiation, 100% recyclable after remelting. The following types of resistance are higher than aluminum, much higher than fiberglass: impact resistance, wear resistance, UV radiation, puncture resistance. It's chemical resistsance is similar to aluminum, but it's much easier to repair and it is much lighter.
