Northman Nexus 850 - 8.60m Motor boat
Northman Nexus 850 Specification
A motor yacht from the Northman shipyard is setting a new standard in the displacement yacht segment. It received high praise during its debut at the 2012 Wind and Water Fair, where it clinched the top prize ('Nail of the Wind and Water Fair') in the large motor yacht category.
This yacht boasts a contemporary silhouette with a spacious sun deck and a uniquely designed interior, offering users exceptional living comfort. Coupled with top-notch equipment, user-friendly operation, and low fuel consumption, it stands out as an exceptional vessel.
The houseboat is available in two primary versions: a walk-around model (Nexus 850), a semi-slip version (Nexus 850 Vmax).
The semi-slip variant comes with: a 60 hp engine consuming just 17l of fuel/h at a top speed of 27.9 km/h, a fixed 160-liter fuel tank, a fuel level indicator, fixed fairing.
Thanks to its low freeboard and specially crafted underwater section, the Nexus 850 offers exceptional maneuverability, predictability during harbor maneuvers, and stability in rough conditions.
With an interior height exceeding 1.9 m, a spacious mess featuring a large galley, and a functional toilet cabin, the Nexus offers numerous living advantages. Abundant cabinets, storage compartments, and lockers provide ample stowage options and enhance navigation autonomy. The yacht's interior can be configured in an open or enclosed layout, featuring two cabins - aft and forward - with full-size double berths and an additional double berth in the mess.
Integral bathing platforms, a functional cockpit with drop-down seats and the option of a folding bimini cover, along with separate sunbathing areas on the forward deck, make the Nexus 850 a comfortable yacht for living and enjoying nature. Wide half-decks facilitate smooth communication throughout the vessel.
The bathing platforms offer additional protection for the dampened engine. By housing it in a specially laminated recess and covering it with a soundproofing flap, noise levels typical of other yachts of this type have been significantly reduced.
