About MiniCat 460
The MiniCat 460 Esprit inflatable sailboat is a marvel of modern engineering and design. Its sleek and stylish appearance is just the beginning of its impressive features. The boat's 4-piece aluminium mast is not only lightweight, but also incredibly durable with its black powder coated and matt finish. The mast is also equipped with a flexible mounting joint and a mast spreader for additional strength, ensuring a smooth and safe sailing experience.
For further reliability, the M460 Esprit has Dyneema rope shrouds that are known for their high strength and low stretch properties. The boat's aluminum frame also boasts a black powder coated and matt finish, adding to its sleek and modern look while providing sturdiness and stability on the water. The rudder of the M460 Esprit is made from fibreglass and epoxy RTM, making it lightweight yet strong.
The bowsprit is also made from aluminum with an eloxal coating, providing added durability and resistance against harsh weather conditions. The sails are also carefully crafted with high-quality materials. The main sail, measuring 8.0m², is made from Monofilm and Racing Polyester X-PLY line, ensuring exceptional performance on the water. Its dark design adds a touch of elegance to the overall appearance of the boat.
The jib, measuring 3.5m², is made from Polyester Dacron, known for its durability and reliability. The boat also features an endless jib furler and a jib traveller system from Ronstan for easy adjustments while sailing.
MiniCat 460 customization
The M460 Esprit is also customizable to suit your personal style and preferences. The gray floats and black trampoline provide a neutral base, while the transparent mainsail and jib allow for colored elements of your choice to be added, giving the boat a unique and personalized look. The floats are also fitted with stainless rings, making it easy to attach an additional front trampoline or line while anchoring the boat.
In addition to its impressive features, the M460 Esprit is also highly versatile. It can be assembled in just 40 minutes and can comfortably carry 1 to 4 sailors, making it the perfect choice for a solo adventure or a fun day out with friends and family. Experience the thrill of sailing on the water with the M460 Esprit inflatable sailboat – a combination of cutting-edge technology, sleek design, and exceptional performance.
Rolling sail Genna - an option
The M460 Esprit & Elite models have the option of being enhanced by adding a rolling sail called the 'GENNA'. This sail has a large, triangular shape similar to a balloon and is extremely lightweight. It follows the design of a 'Code Zero' sail and greatly improves the performance of sailing, not only when sailing with the wind but also against it or at an angle.
The Genna comes with a furler, eliminating the need for a snuffer, and can be rolled in the same way as a jib. This new sail is also compatible with previous models such as the M420 and M460 MiniCats.
